cassidy was very into books today. she danced when i read “hand hand fingers thumnb” and made animal noises when i read the animal book.

lock board.

cassidy sat and played with the lock board for a long time this morning. in the afternoon, she played in the multipurpose room.

mommy note: cassidy said a full sentence today, “i want crackers.”

scrape.

cassidy’s scraped face didn’t seem to bother her at all today. she played in the backyard singing songs for awhile. she also spent a lot of time in the multipurpose room.

daddy note: cassidy suffered her first scrape today. she fell on the way to the car and has a scrape on her cheek and lip.

books and songs.

cassidy sat for a long time with letty this afternoon. they read a few books and sang some songs. during outside time, she played with a baby stroller and sang to me.

cassidy played with a baby doll today. she laid on the floor and covered herself and the baby doll and patted the baby.

brown bear.

cassidy spent a lot of time playing in the multipurpose room today. in the evening, she listened to celina do fingerplays and sand “brown bear.”

tall tower.

cassidy is a big fan of the mega-blocks! she sat with them for a long time and used only the smallest size to build a tall tower.

ni-shosee.

ninang josie picked cassidy up from school today. she was very excited that she was going to spend time with her ninang.

little flowers.

cassidy played in the backyard this morning. she did a little bit of water play, filling up a blue block and then pouring the water into a red one. she also got a bucket and filled it up with little flowers from the ground.
