cassidy used a small wagon to pull trevor around the backyard. she even stopped to put some hay in it. later, she looked for treats in a pile of hay. happy halloween!

cassidy seemed very proud of her haircut. she was busy playing with the toy phones this morning. she had a whole “conversation” with dad.

cassidy played at the water table splashing sea animals around. she also did lots of reading throughout the day.

cassidy was a little fussy on and off throughout the day. she helped wash the mats outside. she also did daubers at the big table outside, lifting up her shirt to do dots on her belly. have a great evening!

cassidy was very patient this morning as evan patted her back (pretending to put her to sleep.) afterwards, she did an amazing watercolor project with evan on a large coffee filter!

pronuciation correction: cassidy actually says fye-were sruck with an “f” in truck. and sometimes she forgets the “r”. do the spelling math. me, selena and evies laughed and laughed! (with cassidy, of course.)

dance machine.

cassidy sat with jess, listening to him read a book this afternoon. she had a great time in dance class doing everything the teacher said.

daily: cassidy continued with the dancing and singing today. she bounced around the room singing “a-b-c-d!”

fire truck.

all morning cassidy was saying”fire truck!” (actually, it’s fye-were sru…ck.) so we went for a walk to the local fire station to see a real one. a nice fireman saw me showing cassidy the fire truck from outside the garage, and he let cassidy and me see it up-close. cassidy even got to sit in the driver’s seat! she waved goodbye to the truck and fireman as the garage closed. she had so much fun, she said fye-were sruck (almost) all the way home – until she fell asleep in her stroller.

then we spent the afternoon dancing and singing then reading books when ninang josie, chris and claire stopped by.

cassidy had two books: the nose book and the tooth book. she asked me to, “reee da boot.” i told her she had to pick one to read first. she chose the nose book. i said, “cassidy, say, ‘read this one.’” no response.

i said, “cassidy, say, ‘read.’”

cassidy says, “reee.”

“this.”

“siii…s”

“one.”

“two. sreee. foe. fye…. yaaaaay!”

sigh. will she ever say, “one?”

stacked.

cassidy played in the backyard playing with blocks this morning. she stacked them all up. she also played at the sensory table with cornmeal and sandwheels.

mommy note: i sneezed this morning, and cassidy said, “besh you, mommy!”
