pop-ons.

cassidy had a busy morning. she played with pop-ons on the loft and in the sandbox outside. she also spent a lot of time pushing a stroller around the yard.

all smiles.

today when i walked into the classroom, cassidy greeted me by saying, “lina.” i asked her how her trip was, and cassidy said, “good.” she was all smiles before she went to sleep.

dinosaur structure.

cassidy was very busy this morning. she played inside with the baby dolls, patting them in the baby bed and covering them up. outside, she played on the dinosaur structure and with ice and sand blocks in the sensory tubs.

all before lunch.

cassidy was busy today. she did goop, daubers, and painting all before lunch. after nap, we had a party for jess’ birthday.

prompting her peers.

cassidy was very involved in moving the chairs around the room, prompting her peers to do the same. then they sat together and read.

sunglasses.

cassidy spent some time playing in the sandbox this morning. she was very into the new sunglasses that lila day brought in.

couch potato.

cassidy did lots of singing today. in the afternoon she sat on the couch and read books.

owie.

cassidy was very busy with foam paints this morning. she smeared them all over the table and on her face. she played in the sandbox in the afternoon.

daddy note: cassidy is in a good mood (other than her diaper rash or “booty owie”)

choo choo.

after snack, cassidy took all the chairs from the table and lined them up in the book area. then she sat down and said “choo choo.” later, she played with goop in the sensory tubs.

too heavy.

cassidy is very into blankets and spreading them out on the floor or over things. she gave me a hairdo today and tried to pick up a pumpkin making noises when it was heavy.
