the clouds.

cassidy was full of energy today. we ran all around the backyard this afternoon with alexandra, jude, and lindsay. we also looked at the clouds and sang, “row, row, row your boat.”

plunger.

cassidy did plunger painting this morning. she kept asking for more and more paint in the tubs. she also raced bikes and strollers around the yard with lindsay.

blue dog.

cassidy told us all about “coco” today. she said that coco is a blue dog. silly! she also played basketball outside.

joe who.

cassidy was a singing machine today on the buggy walk. she walked around the room this morning carrying a purse and saying, “bye. see you later, guys!”

*say “joe who?” to cassidy – her answer will make you laugh.

backwards.

cassidy was so busy this morning. she explored the shredded flour in the sensory tubs, putting it in little containers and carrying it around the yard.she also played in the backyard for awhile. she tried pedaling the tricycle – she was really good at going backwards!

plie.

cassidy approached me outside and sand lots of songs all in a row. first she sang “abcs,” then “twinkle, twinkle”, then “if you’re happy and you know it,” then the fish song. amazing!! she also knows all of the words from dance class.

mommy note: some of the words from dance class are: plie, sashay, arabesque – all of these words always accompany the associated movement.

party time.

cassidy was very excited about trevor’s party today. when we got the tables all ready, she went around telling patrice and trevor’s parents that it was “trevor’s party.” she explored flubber this morning and spent a long time putting on (and taking off) a baby doll’s diaper.

really fast.

cassidy was in a great mood today. she came into the room singing “polar bear, polar bear.” she started cracking up on the buggy walk when patrice pushed the buggy really fast.

super busy.

cassidy was super busy this morning. she painted with brushes on the fence and at the big table using water colors and sponges. she also played peek-a-boo behind a big piece of paper.

daddy note: cassidy is sporting a new band-aid (without an owie).

faces.

cassidy did a great demonstration of different mood faces for me today. she did a serious face, a happy face, mad face and silly face. very impressive! she also sat and read “polar bear” to isabella and lindsay.
